These cover this website. The work itself is governed by whatever we both sign, and that document wins wherever the two differ.

What these terms cover
The website, not the work.
These terms govern your use of this website. They are not the contract for any work we do. If you engage Godwit AI Labs Pvt. Ltd., that engagement is governed by a separate written agreement, a proposal, statement of work or contract that we both sign, and where that agreement says something different from this page, the signed agreement wins.
Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Prices, timelines and scope shown here describe how we usually work; what you are actually buying is whatever the signed document says.
What is on this site
Description, not advice.
The articles, checklists and technical material here describe how we approach problems. They are not advice for your estate, and we have not seen your estate. Do not change a live system because a page here suggested it. The same change is right in one environment and an outage in another.
Figures shown as illustrative are illustrative. Where a page carries indicative rupee amounts or percentages, they describe the shape of a typical result, not a quotation or a promise of a saving.
Free tools have their own section, below. Where we link out, we are pointing at something we found useful on the day we wrote it; we do not control those pages and are not responsible for what they say later.
Free tools and their reports
Guidance you check, not an audit you rely on.
The free tools on this site (checkers, calculators and analysers) help you understand your own systems. Their results are guidance. They are not an audit, a security assessment, a certification, or legal or compliance advice, and they are not a substitute for a professional review of your estate.
A result that finds nothing is not a clean bill of health. It means only that the checks listed in it found nothing. It does not mean a system is secure, compliant or correctly configured, and every result lists what it could not check.
What you share, and what we keep. A tool that reads a file you choose, text you paste, or answers and figures you type, does so in your own browser: none of it is uploaded to us and we do not store it. A tool that checks a public address, a domain or a web page, reads only what any visitor could see. The website DPDP check opens the one page you name, and the privacy notice it links, from our server, as a first-time visitor would; it clicks nothing but a cookie banner’s reject button, and types and submits nothing. Use it only on a website that is yours or that you have permission to check. The whole report is shown on the page. If you download it, or ask us to help with it, we record your details as an enquiry with a one-line summary of the result (the tool, the domain or website checked or the headline figures, how many findings of each kind, and the short titles of the main ones). We never receive your file or your text, we keep none of the detailed findings, and we do not email a result to an address we have not confirmed. The download is the same report you saw on the page.
Using a report. A report is for your organisation’s own use. Share it inside your organisation and with your advisers, auditors and IT providers as you need. Please do not present it, or publish it, as an audit, a certification or an endorsement by Godwit AI Labs: it is none of those.
Documents the tools draft. The policy, notice and runbook builders write drafts from your answers. Read and adapt a draft, and have it reviewed (by a lawyer where it carries legal duties) before you adopt it. A document you adopt is yours, and so is the decision to rely on it.
Before you share anything. Use the tools only on systems you own or are authorised to assess, never on anyone else’s. Please do not include passwords, keys, or other people’s personal data. The tools remove the secrets and identifiers they recognise before analysing anything, and the contact form does the same before anything is stored, but no filter recognises every format: the safest secret is the one you did not paste.
Accuracy. Results rely on public sources, such as vendor advisories, support dates and lists published by others (CISA’s list of exploited flaws among them), which change and which we cannot promise are complete. Each result shows the date its data was last checked. Confirm anything that matters before acting on it, and do not change a live system on the strength of a result alone. Before changing a configuration, keep a copy of it and make the change in a planned window: a fix that is right in general can still break something particular to your set-up.
Fair use. Do not try to break, overload or misuse the tools. We may limit or block use that looks automated or abusive.
Liability. The tools are free and provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using them or from relying on their results. The limits in section 05, including what the law does not let anyone exclude, apply here too.
Ownership
Ours, yours, and other people’s.
The text, artwork, diagrams and code of this site belong to Godwit AI Labs Pvt. Ltd.. You may read, print and share pages, and quote from them with attribution. You may not republish substantial parts as your own material, or use them to train a model for resale.
Anything you send us stays yours. During an engagement, the work we produce for you, and the credentials, documentation and tooling it runs on, lives in your accounts. That is deliberate: leaving us should be boring.
Trade marks and product names belonging to other companies are theirs, and are used here only to describe what a thing is.
Availability and liability
What we will and will not stand behind.
We try to keep this site up and correct, and we make no promise that it will be either at any given moment. It may be unavailable, and a page may be out of date between the day something changes and the day we rewrite it.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website, or from anything you did because you read it. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited, and it does not touch our obligations under a signed engagement, which are set out in that agreement.
Personal data
Covered properly elsewhere.
What we collect, how long we keep it, and how to get a copy or have it deleted is set out in the privacy notice. That is the operative document; this page does not restate it.
Law, changes and how to reach us
And which courts.
We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies, and a material change will be visible here rather than announced.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction.
